When a Spirit Animal Starts Following You

When a Spirit Animal Starts Following You

Sometimes it begins quietly.

A photo catches your eye.

A symbol appears in a conversation.

You scroll past the same animal three times in a day and think nothing of it.

Then it appears again.

And again.

And suddenly you're left wondering whether it's coincidence at all.

Over the last day or so, I found myself surrounded by spirit animals.

Wolves.

Lions.

Dragonflies.

Not because I was searching for them, but because they seemed to keep appearing in everything I was creating, discussing and thinking about.

And whenever that happens, I pay attention.

Not because I believe every animal is automatically a message.

But because I've learned that when something keeps tapping you on the shoulder, there is often wisdom hidden beneath it.

Spirit animals don't always arrive with flashing lights and grand announcements.

Sometimes they arrive as a feeling.

A curiosity.

A fascination you can't quite explain.

A creature you feel drawn to over and over again.

The wolf, for example, reminds us of instinct, loyalty and trusting our inner knowing.

The lion speaks of courage, leadership and finding strength when we feel small.

The dragonfly often appears during periods of transformation, inviting us to look beyond illusion and trust the deeper truth beneath the surface.

As I sat creating artwork surrounded by wolves, lions and dragonflies this week, I couldn't help but smile at how persistent these messengers can be when they want our attention.

The question isn't always:

"What does this animal mean?"

Sometimes the better question is:

"What part of myself is this animal helping me remember?"

Because I believe spirit animals don't arrive to give us something we don't have.

They arrive to remind us of what we've forgotten.

So if an animal keeps appearing in your life right now, don't rush to Google its meaning.

Sit with it.

Notice it.

Be curious.

Ask yourself why this particular creature has captured your attention.

And then listen.

The answer may not arrive immediately.

But whispers rarely do.
